Assessments · Free · Results on screen

Find out where you stand. It takes about five minutes.

Four free assessments, all built on the same model. Start with the Readiness Diagnostic if you are not sure which pillar is holding you back. Go straight to a single assessment if you already know. Results appear the moment you finish, and the email is optional. The models behind them have been used with retailers on four continents, including two of the world's five largest.

Choose an assessment

Not sure which one? Start with the Diagnostic.

Start here · 12 statements · about five minutes

The Readiness Diagnostic

Twelve statements covering purpose, people and process. You get a result for each, plus a suggestion on where to start. If you only take one, take this one, and ask your leadership team to take it too.

Purpose · 24 statements · about 8 minutes

CLEAR Assessment

Is your purpose clear enough to aim technology at something that matters? A state for each of the five moves.

People · 16 statements · about 6 minutes

GRIT Assessment

Are your people ready to trust it, and ready to be trusted with it? A state for Leadership, Culture, Capability and Frontline Trust.

Process · 32 statements · about 10 minutes

ReFRAME Assessment

Is there a repeatable way from a promising pilot to everyday use? A state for each of the six stages, and the one where your pilots stall.

All four assessments are live and free. No login, results on screen, and a copy to your inbox if you want one.

What the results look like

See what comes back before you ask your team to take it.

A sample Readiness Diagnostic result showing a state for each of the three pillars and what it means in plain terms

A sample Diagnostic result. You get a state for each pillar, what it means in plain terms, the two statements you scored lowest, and three moves from here. The single-pillar assessments go one level deeper in the same format.

What happens to your answers

You see your results first. Email is optional.

You see your results on screen the moment you finish. If you would like them by email, with the links to the relevant framework page, you can enter an address then; it is not required. We keep an anonymised record of every completion so the benchmark gets richer each year, and nothing else.

If you would like a conversation about what the results mean, there is one line on the results page for that. It is up to you.

BrokenWill block or damage the work.
FragileWorks in calm conditions, cracks under pressure.
StrongSolid enough to build on, even when things move fast.
Taking it as a team

The spread is usually the story.

Ask your leadership team and a few store managers to take it too, then compare notes. The distance between leadership's answers and the frontline's is usually where the real conversation starts. The Readiness Briefing reads that spread with you.
